Timely advice to young people on how to protect their online personal information from identity fraud.
The Information Commissioner’s Office has just launched a website for young people advising them how to protect their online information. It is aimed at helping them specifically with social networking sites such as MySpace, FaceBook and BeBo , but the advice applies to any sharing of personal data on the internet.

Digizen is a new initiative to help young people stay safe on line:
“Digital citizenship isn’t just about recognising and dealing with online hazards. It’s about building safe spaces and communities, understanding how to manage personal information, and about being internet savvy - using your online presence to grow and shape your world in a safe, creative way, and inspiring others to do the same.”
