What is Passportfolio?


Your secure, interactive, online 'future-planner'! Students can use it to find out about their strengths and learning styles using interactive quizzes. Record multimedia evidence of their learning and experiences, interests, skills and achievements. Build up an application to many local sixth forms or colleges, or even build a CV! Passportfolio encourages them to set goals for themselves and create an Individual Learning Plan or Action Plan.

Passportfolio was originally developed in 2006. The site is a single online resource which has been managed and partly funded by Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Futures (NNF) on behalf of Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County Councils. Passportfolio (PPf) is an online record of achievement, CV builder, action planner and e-portfolio. From September the site will be freely available to young people outside of Nottinghamshire.

 

The site has been designed in collaboration with careers education professionals and reflects a number of ideological frameworks surrounding careers advice and guidance. Over the years PPF has grown and developed through continuous consultation with users. PPF has also benefited from working in partnership with local universities and Aim Higher Nottinghamshire.

We can offer administrative support to institutions wanting to use Passportfolio as part of a progression planning programme: £240 + VAT a day. You could also opt into our helpline: £100 + VAT annual license.

We can deliver training to your staff and students on how to use the site to get the most out of Passportfolio. We are flexible and training can be tailored to your requirements, please contact us for prices and more details.

 

As part of the training package you are trained on how to use the site to support and monitor your students progress through the website. You will also have access to support materials including lesson plans and classroom resources.
