Passportfolio was originally developed in 2006. The site is a single online resource which has been managed and partly funded by Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Futures (NNF) on behalf of Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County Councils. Passportfolio is an online record of achievement, CV builder, action planner and e-portfolio. From September the site will be freely available to young people outside of Nottinghamshire.
The site has been designed in collaboration with careers education professionals and reflects a number of ideological frameworks surrounding careers advice and guidance. Over the years PPF has grown and developed through continuous consultation with users. PPF has also benefited from working in partnership with local universities and Aim Higher Nottinghamshire.
The site has been improved based on feedback and suggestions from young people and school staff. PPF today supports schools to prepare their students for progression. PPF has been used in Nottinghamshire to support the Career Mark quality award.
